Liverpool are not expecting any high-level outings from the team in January as things stand.
Clubs in the Premier League will be able to get back to business when the window opens on Saturday.
But ECHO understands that the club has not received any direct indication that any player wants to leave, with no major expenses pending at this stage.
There has been a lot of speculation about the future of Divock Origi ahead of the new window.
Wolverhampton Wanderers have been credited with an interest in the 25-year-old, along with several other teams across Europe.
Anfield sources insist there is no current push to sell the Liverpool winger forward.
But it is accepted that he has been a loyal servant, and the club would not stand in his way if a satisfactory offer emerged.
It is a situation that could evolve in January with the player’s own wishes, Liverpool’s circumstances and market value, all factors that can change the landscape. A fee of around £ 20 million could be enough to bring the Reds to the table.
And as ECHO has previously reported, Origi’s breakthrough would free up additional non-local space on the Liverpool squad that could be needed if foreign signings came.
Origi has not been injured so far this season but has remained on the sidelines.
He has played just eight minutes of Premier League action in three cameos from the bench, with other appearances restricted to cup competitions.
Xherdan Shaqiri is another offensive talent Liverpool have previously indicated they would be willing to sell.
But with Diogo Jota still offside due to a knee injury and the Swiss star now back in contention, his versatility and threat may be needed as the season progresses.
Shaqiri returned to the Reds team for his first sighting in seven weeks when he came on as a substitute in a 0-0 draw at Newcastle last night.
Speaking after the game, coach Jurgen Klopp said: “Shaq is back too, and that’s the best news tonight. The boys are back. [Thiago and James Milner too] and as far as I know at this point, no one was hurt tonight, which is very important. “

Liverpool sources have already indicated that notable earnings are not likely in January either.
Klopp is said to be happy with his options as a central defender, despite Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip being unavailable at this time.
In November, the Reds boss did not dismiss the January deals on defense when he said, “We’ll see. I don’t know what we can do in January to be honest, I have no idea.
“That we look for solutions, let’s look at the transfer market, that is clear of course. But for now we have the situation we have.”
But Klopp has also talked about the range of possible coverages available to him, in addition to Fabinho, Rhys Williams, Nat Phillips and younger prospects.

In October, the German said: “We have other options like Henderson, or Gini (Wijnaldum) or James (Milner), or Robbo, he can also play center.
“They are not all smaller than Javier Mascherano, for example, and he played quite well in that position (for Barcelona).”
It remains to be seen if circumstances, such as more injuries or players on the move, could cause Liverpool to consider a different approach next month.
But Anfield insiders contend that any significant recruiting work currently underway would be primarily looking toward the summer window.
