He was strong during the first quarter and kept looking to set the pace. Always with the front foot and a solid defensive cover at all times.
Gini Wijnaldum 7
He worked hard as always, but was not able to influence things in the first half. He improved after the break and became a bigger threat in attack.

Eager to take over, rarely cool, but it’s not easy to find holes in the well-organized Hammers rear. Better after the break. Subtitled.

Easily the most dangerous Liverpool striker in the first half. He had Cresswell measure from the start and won and scored the penalty to equalize, and kept threatening. Subtitled.

Reasonable touch for the most part, but rarely in threatening areas in the first half. It faded long after the break. Subtitled.
Sadio mane 7
It took him an age to catch up, but he began to test the Hammers defense with his straight run to the break, persistently upsetting the visitors in the second half.
Xherdan Shaqiri (for Jones 70) 8
He brought an incision to Liverpool’s midfield and the supreme pass released Jota for the second.
Diogo Jota (for Firmino 70) 8
He instantly made an impact once again with a goal disallowed before leading his winner in excellent fashion.
