Bayern Munich star Thiago Alcántara laughed at speculation about his future after Spain’s draw against Germany.

The 29-year-old was in action when Luis Enrique’s team rallied from a goal against to score a point in the last minute against Joachim Low’s men.

Thiago is set to leave Bayern Munich this summer after informing the Bundesliga club that he will not sign a contract extension to his current contract, which expires next summer.

Liverpool were leading the race to sign the former Barcelona midfielder and Thiago has been in talks with Jurgen Klopp about his move to Anfield.

However, the Reds’ reluctance to meet Bayern’s £ 27m asking price has opened the door for Manchester United, who are interested in signing Thiago seven years after he was about to move to Old. Trafford.

Speaking after Spain’s draw, Thiago said that he was concentrating on the next match against Ukraine and that Munich was his “home”.

“I only think about the game against Ukraine. Then we’ll see, ‘Thiago said.

“Bayern is my home and I am happy to be there.”

Thiago was then asked directly if he had made up his mind between Liverpool and Manchester United, but he replied with a smile, before saying ‘ciao’ and walking away.

Despite his warm words about life in Germany, Thiago hopes to leave the Allianz Arena this summer and there are likely to be changes in his future after Spain’s game against Ukraine on Sunday.

Jurgen Klopp has been told he must sell before he can buy again this summer and Gini Wijnaldum’s departure to Barcelona could give the German his wish to sign Thiago.

Klopp wants to stay with Wijnaldum, but the Dutchman has yet to sign an extension to his contract, which expires next summer.

Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman is interested in signing the 29-year-old and would get a fee similar to the £ 27 million fee Bayern is seeking for Thiago.
