Mbappe drops hint on transfer specuatlion
French superstar Kylian Mbappe has tenatively been linked with a move to Liverpool, with Real Madrid said to be another possible destination for the World Cup winner when he next moves on.
But a tweet from the 21-year old appeared to question any speculation, as he gave a positive mention to his current side PSG.
Mbappe posted last night: “#TBT Everyone is talking, but nobody knows … MISS MY TEAM @PSG_inside.”
Back in January, Mbappe praised the Reds in an interview with the BBC, saying: “What Liverpool do in this moment is amazing. They’re like a machine”.
And recent gossip has claimed Jurgen Klopp “called Mbappe’s dad” to sound out the possibility of a move.
But Klopp has laughed off the link in the past, pointing out that the transfer fee would be problematic for virtually every club in the world.

Jamie Carragher believes Liverpool will need to make fewer moves in the transfer market, thanks to Klopp’s willingness to give opportunities to the young players on the club’s books.
“It’s credit not just to the Academy, but to Jurgen Klopp,” he said.
“They have had great exposure and played in big games. They’re not all going to come through, of course not, but two or three could become really good squad players at the very least.
“Would you go and buy backup for Trent given the performances Neco Williams has shown?
“It could be the case at left-back with Adam Lewis or Yasser Larouci. People are talking about the need for a creative midfielder, but Curtis Jones has come through now as well.”
But Carragher does think that reinforcements are required up front.
“With the front three getting close to 28, 29, you might get another 18 months at their top performance level, but it won’t be another three or four years with this front three and the club has to be ready for that,” he said.
“We haven’t seen enough of Takumi Minamino yet, who I think can add something. But I think he’ll be more a replacement for Adam Lallana or Xherdan Shaqiri.”
Arsenal defender in awe of Liverpool’s front three
Pablo Mari joined Arsenal on loan in January, but the coronavirus outbreak has restricted him to just two appearances so far.
He was previously with Flamengo, and in an Ask Me Anything session on Reddit, I have identified Liverpool’s front three as his toughest ever opponents.
“I think this moment was the three strikers of Liverpool! Salah, Mane and Firmino, ”he said. “It’s because of speed, intelligence and their characters. I think these things are most important and make them top players. ”
“Of course it was really difficult to play against the front three because you know they are fast, they are strong and they know every player and what to do and they have really good quality.
“Of course it was difficult but I was focused 100% in that game and I know it was a difficult game but I felt like I improved a lot in six months, playing in Flamengo, so that I can play against Liverpool and these three players .
“My focus when I arrived in Flamengo was that we knew we would play against a club like Liverpool in this final and that if we improved a lot we could beat them.”
