Liverpool have beaten archrival Man Utd until the signing of young Stefan Bajcetic from Celta Vigo, according to reports in Spain.
The Red Devils have recently been linked with the 16-year-old, who joined the lower ranks of the Spanish club three years ago and has been drawing the attention of scouts.
However, despite the interest of the Red Devils, Vigo lighthouse (via Sports witness) state that Bajcetic will now ‘pack for Anfield’.

A transfer to Man Utd was believed to be “practically arranged” until Liverpool launched a “last minute attack” to get the youngster.
A Liverpool representative was sent to Vigo yesterday to “take charge of travel procedures” after Brexit “forced the operation to be accelerated.”
There is no mention of a fee in the report, but Celta de Vigo will receive a portion of their training rights plus compensation when the deal is completed.
AND The voice of Galicia (via Sports witness) endorse Faro de Vigo’s initial report saying that Bajcetic ‘will embark on a new stage’ in Liverpool.
They also claim that Manchester United was “very close” to signing the defender, but that the deal to join Liverpool “will become official” in the next few hours.
