A key Birmingham highway has been blocked after a terror crush early in the morning.
Part of Pershore Road, at the Dogpool Lane junction, was closed to motorists after the Selly Park incident at around 6.30am on Monday, September 28.
Buses are diverted and commuters are urged to avoid the area as roadside work continues.
Dramatic footage from West Midlands Police shows the massive aftermath of the crash, in which a car collided with a store.
Travel monitoring company West Midlands Roads said delays in the area could “continue throughout the morning.”
A spokesperson said: “Pershore Road was closed between St Stephens Street and Selly Park Road.
“There is now a lot of congestion on the surrounding roads at Stirchley and SellyPark.
“Expect the delays to continue throughout the morning.
“Avoid the area and consider alternative routes.”
