A vigil is being held at the scene of a fatal collision in Salford.
Images taken on Frederick Road and sent to the MEN tonight (September 24) show a long queue of traffic and cars parked on the side of the road and several people congregating.
A witness said they were able to see several tea lights that appeared to spell the name of a person.
About 15 people have gathered on a bridge on Frederick Street.
There is a cordon and police vehicles are blocking access to Lissadel Street at the junction of Broughton Road and Frederick Street.
One person tweeted: “Avoid Frederick Road, it looks like there are a lot of cars blocking the road right where the accident happened last night that killed the 2 men.”
The vigil takes place near the site of a fatal crash in which two men were killed.
Police spotted a speeding vehicle on Frederick Road around 11:40 p.m. on Wednesday night (September 23).
Officers began a chase before the vehicle in question crashed into two other cars.
Two men in the pursued car died at the scene, Greater Manchester Police said.
A man and two women from the other vehicles were taken to hospital with what has been described as serious injuries.
MEN has contacted Greater Manchester Police for further details.
More to follow.
