Nottinghamshire County Council has organized a press conference as the county appears to be subject to Level 3 restrictions.
The meeting is scheduled to take place between 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. today, Wednesday, October 28.
Public Health Director Jonathan Gribbin and County Council Leader Kay Cutts are expected to speak at the briefing.
It comes as Councilor Jason Zadrozny, head of the Ashfield District Council, confirmed to Nottinghamshire Live that all areas of Nottinghamshire are now expected to be placed at level 3 by the government.
Gedling, Nottingham, Broxtowe and Rushcliffe were initially planned to enter Level 3 one minute after midnight on Thursday, October 29.
