Lionel Messi’s father and agent have arrived in Spain for crucial conversations with the Barcelona hierarchy about his son’s future.
Jorge Messi boarded a private jet that took him to Spain from Rosario in Argentina and landed at the private terminal of the Barcelona-El Prat airport around 6.45 am local time.
He will meet with the president of Barcelona, Josep Maria Bartomeu, and the rest of the Barcelona board to resolve the impasse between player and club regarding the forward’s contractual situation.
On Wednesday morning, Jorge Messi admitted that it is “difficult” for his son to stay in Barcelona when asked by the Spanish television program. The beach bar when he arrived at the Leo Messi Foundation to talk.

These talks between Barcelona and Lionel Messi will take place on Wednesday and Thursday. Lionel Messi’s father, Jorge, has already arrived in the country and will lead these conversations when it comes to Messi’s squad.
