James Maddison is absent from the Leicester City squad as Brendan Rodgers makes a trade for Sunday’s home clash with West Ham.
Maddison, a substitute for the first three Premier League games of the season, is not even at 18, despite improving his fitness in recent weeks following hip surgery in the summer.
It was later confirmed that he has a calf problem.
Meanwhile Dennis Praet is in no condition to appear, the Belgian international sprained his knee during last weekend’s win over Manchester City.
He had to play and ready to play, but he has not risked, Ayoze Pérez entered as the only change.
A direct change to the right flank means City sticks to the winning three system at Etihad Stadium, with Daniel Amartey retaining his place alongside Jonny Evans and Caglar Soyuncu on defense.
Timothy Castagne and James Justin continue as wingers with Papy Mendy and Youri Tielemans in midfield and Harvey Barnes on the opposite flank to Pérez. Jamie Vardy, with five goals in three games, leads the line.
Two new signings are included in the squad for the first time, with Wesley Fofana and Cengiz Under on the bench.
City (predicted 3-4-2-1): Schmeichel; Amartey, Evans, Soyuncu; Castagne, Tielemans, Mendy, Justin; Pérez, Barnes; Vardy.
Subs: Ward, Fofana, Fuchs, Choudhury, Albrighton, Under, Iheanacho.
