Laura Whitmore has revealed that she is pregnant after news broke of her secret marriage to Iain Strling.

The Love Island host announced the news on Instagram today, joking that “it’s starting to look like my beer belly is out of control.”

Sharing a picture of a Sweet Child Of Mine Guns’ N Roses babygro, with the words’ coming in 2021 ‘, he wrote: “So I’ve always tried to protect the personal side of my life. A lot of things are just for me and my loved ones and we have chosen not to share publicly.

“Now I want to share some good news though, as this is our news to share, and I’ll be honest, it’s starting to look like my closed beer belly is out of control. Iain and I are expecting a baby in early 2021.” .

Sharing that she has been craving mashed potatoes, Laura admitted that she had been struggling with pregnancy symptoms.

However, the 35-year-old joked that a silver lining was the fact that she was “completely sober” while filming Celebrity Juice this week.

She said: “It’s been difficult keeping such happy news quiet. Especially the times when I had to run out of live radio to get sick in a trash can or my fondness for a bowl of mashed potatoes in the morning.

“He wasn’t hungover like everyone thought. In fact, he was completely sober filming the entire Celeb Juice series, which is quite a compliment!”

Laura ended her announcement by saying that she hoped her happy news would “spread a little love” for her fans.

She said: “We would appreciate our privacy being respected, but we just wanted to spread a little love and a reminder of the beauty of life.”

Laura and Iain, 32, managed to secretly marry last month, celebrating their love with a small ceremony in Dublin, in accordance with Covid rules.
