Lady Gaga has broken her silence after the theft of her two dogs.
The singer took to Twitter on Friday and wrote: “My beloved dogs Koji and Gustav were captured in Hollywood two nights ago. My heart is sick and I am praying that my family recovers with an act of kindness. “
Gaga confirmed that she is offering a $ 500,000 reward for the safe return of the dogs and gave the contact email address [email protected], adding: “If you bought or found them inadvertently, the reward is the same. “.
The artist also shared words of thanks and support to dog walker Ryan Fischer, who was shot and injured during the robbery.
“I still love you Ryan Fischer, you risked your life to fight for our family,” he wrote. “You are always a hero.”
Gaga included four photos of the two French bulldogs along with her tweets.
Los Angeles Police Capt.Jonathan Tippett told the news agency that the dog walker was shot and is expected to survive his injuries.
It was not immediately clear if the dog walker was attacked because of his celebrity client, according to Tippett.
Fischer’s family said Rolling Stone in a statement that he is expected to make a full recovery.
“Fortunately, Ryan is receiving extraordinary care at the hospital at this time and his doctors hope that he makes a full recovery,” the family told the publication. “We cannot say enough to thank all the first responders, nurses and doctors who have worked so tirelessly to care for Ryan.”
