All Access GAME vendors, Smyths both offline.
Key retailer websites have gone offline amid Xbox Series X pre-orders.
The GAME and Smyths websites are currently offline. In the UK, GAME and Smyths are the only two retailers allowed to sell Xbox All Access, meaning paying monthly for a new Xbox instead of everything up front.
Tweets from official store accounts reveal that retailers are working to restore their sites now.
Our wait page is currently live as we improve the customer journey for our pre-order customers. Please be patient and keep checking the website. Thank you for your patience.

Update: 9:35 am 09/22/20.
Our website is down at the moment, but customers can still pre-order the new Xbox consoles at any of our stores. Pre-order on Xbox All Access is not available while our website is down.
Sorry for the inconvenience, we are working hard to fix the issue.– Smyths Toys UK (@SmythsToysUK) September 22, 2020
A GAME source told Eurogamer this morning that their website collapse was the result of a number of problems, including the sale of the All Access program, problems with the delivery system, and a rather notable deal that was apparently offered in error. .
This bug meant that people could buy an Xbox Series X with a Turtle Beach headset for just £ 320. An Xbox Series X should cost £ 450 on its own.
In case anyone is wondering why GAME just shut down their site. ? pic.twitter.com/Qjct6KLXYS

Meanwhile, the Xbox Series X is out of stock on the internet, including on sites like Amazon, ShopTo, and even Microsoft’s own store. The Xbox Series S is still available.
Did you manage to get an Xbox Series X / S pre-order this morning?
