The 2020 Christmas card of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, has been shared online by a fan of royalty.

In one adorable instant, the entire family is wearing cozy winter clothes with the eldest son, seven-year-old Prince George, sitting next to his father, Prince William.

Five-year-old Princess Charlotte is seen sitting on the lap of her mother, Kate Middleton, while the youngest of the clan, two-year-old Prince Louis, stands between her parents, both 38.

The sweet family photo, which shows the group sitting on a haystack in front of firewood, was shared by the Royalty 101 fan page and has not been officially released by Kensington Palace.

The card is addressed “To all the amazing NHS staff”, with the message: “I wish you a very Merry Christmas and New Year.”

It is not known where the photo was taken, but the Cambridges have spent most of the lockdown at their Anmer Hall residence in Norfolk, and their previous cards have been taken there.

The shot is decidedly more festive than the 2019 family card, in which the family posed with a khaki vintage motorcycle, in sunny surroundings.

Social media posts at the time featured the message inside the card, which read ‘Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and New Year’, and is signed in black pen by ‘Catherine’.

Holding their parents’ hands tightly, they walked towards the theater, fascinated by the sight of an elf juggling snowballs.

Little Louis, elegantly dressed in a blue cardigan, stood with his mother, the Duchess of Cambridge, elegant in an Alessandra Rich gown, while his brother, George, who looked more adult than ever in a striped sweater, held the duke.

Fighter Charlotte walked happily on her own, kicking her legs in a gray and black tartan dress, shrugging her father’s guiding arm.

Second in line to the throne thanked Britain’s key workers and sweetly marked the death of Dame Barbara Windsor, a fitting tribute given her frequent appearance as a pantomime star.

He said: ‘Before continuing, I want to pause and pay tribute to a true national treasure, Dame Barbara Windsor, who passed away so sadly last night.

“ He was a giant in the entertainment world and of course a legend on pantomime stages across the country, including here at the London Palladium. And I know we will all miss her terribly. ‘

He told the audience sitting in family groups with social distancing from each other: ‘It’s wonderful to be back here in the West End and to see theaters reopen … Catherine, George, Charlotte, Louis and I can’t wait to see show.

‘We are here tonight for a very special performance. Special thanks to you, the key workers here at the hearing.
