Jurgen Klopp has hilariously claimed that the only thing he learned during the lockdown is that Gary Neville “has an opinion on absolutely everything.”
The Liverpool chief also spoke of how he is “quite proud” of how society has come together to overcome the coronavirus pandemic.
The Reds have resumed limited training at their Melwood training ground, though they are awaiting further guidance from the Premier League before starting bigger sessions.
League leaders are poised to win a first league title in 30 years and have faced a nervous wait about whether the season will resume from the suspension of soccer in March.

And while Klopp said he had been watching footage from Liverpool’s past games, he maintains he has learned very little during the shutdown, aside from a revelation about Sky Sports expert Neville.
“I didn’t learn much during the running of the bulls, except Gary Neville has an opinion on absolutely everything!” Klopp said BBC Sport.
“It’s amazing! So no, I didn’t learn much, but I’ve known myself for 52 years.
“I know I can deal with difficult situations before and this is a difficult situation not only for me and my family, but for everyone on this planet. I am very proud of how we as a society are dealing with it.”
“We as human beings are not perfect, so we make mistakes, but I think we have understood much more about how we are connected to each other. That is a good thing.”
Klopp also spoke about bumping into Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, saying it was “great to see him” although he made sure that social distancing was maintained.
The German manager added: “Four and a half years I lived in the city and never met him! I knew where he lived, he lived in the house he built and Brendan Rodgers bought and rented but it had never happened!
“I saw him for sure, walking with his kids and his mistress. We always keep our distance, yeah? But he was nice. I admired him as a player and met him as a man here and he’s a great guy, so it was great to see him.”
