Tottenham and José Mourinho have a big decision to make before the January transfer window.
That’s the view of former forward Louis Saha, who has assessed where Spurs need to strengthen next month to maintain their drive for a top four spot.
The Frenchman is of the opinion that the North London side need more goals in the squad and has suggested that Mourinho’s next transfer mission should be another striker.
However, Saha has also urged the Spurs manager to give the loan player Carlos Vinicius a run on the side to show he can ease the scoring burden on Harry Kane and Son Heung-min.

“It is concerning that apart from Harry Kane and Heung-min Son, only Tanguy Ndombele has scored more than one goal in the league this season,” Saha told Ladbrokes. “The Spurs have a decision to make in January.
“They need to look for players who can help them get more goals, even if it means signing another striker.
“I don’t think they have used Carlos Vinicius enough this season, not even in a competition like the League Cup.
“It’s something that needs to be addressed because if Kane and Son aren’t scoring, you don’t know where your goals will come from.
“I think they need to give Vinicius more opportunities for the rest of the season. The answer is not necessarily to bring in another striker because they brought him in last summer.
“Yes, Harry Kane and Heung-min Son have been exceptional this season, so it is difficult to get another striker in the team, but you have to find a way to maintain the form and confidence of the players who do not play. I’m going to teach José Mourinho to do that because he is a teacher.
