Jacqueline Jossa’s business affairs are under investigation after liquidating a company that owes £ 32,000 in taxes.

The 27-year-old actress put her firm Pooker Bash Limited into voluntary liquidation last year, owing the money in VAT and corporate taxes to HMRC.

She won I’m a celebrity … Get me out of here! last year and was reportedly paid £ 75,000 to participate.

Her company was created to handle cash from her role as Lauren Branning on the BBC soap opera EastEnders. He played the role between 2010 and 2018.

The company ended before its passage through the jungle.

Official documents were released this week at Companies House.

The liquidator said: “The reviews have identified a number of payments from the company that require further investigation and explanation from the director, and the investigations are ongoing.”

The paperwork also revealed that the debts may not have been paid.

One document read: “It is unlikely that there will be a dividend payable to creditors.”

A source said last night that the star is fully cooperating with the liquidator’s inquiries and that the investigation was purely routine and not related to tax bills.

The mother of two previously urged her fans to be “comfortable in her skin.”

She said: “I’m a size 12 and I don’t pretend to be anything different. I’m not ashamed of how I look.

“Would I like to be slimmer? Probably. Can’t I have pancakes for breakfast? No. Swings and roundabouts. “

His EastEnders character appeared alongside other members of the Branning family such as Dot, played by June Brown, Max (Jake Wood), Abi (Lorna Fitzgerald), and Jack (Scott Maslen).
