Speculation remains about the future of Jadon Sancho after he was ruled out of the German Super Cup team in Dortmund.
Dortmund They say that Sancho has a ‘respiratory infection’, which is not covid-19.
Now Sancho may be really sick. But the timing of this is suspect amid speculation by The Guardian, among others, that United is increasing interest.
The interesting thing about this is that Sancho has a way for it.
Goal.com reported in 2017 that Sancho claimed to be ill while trying to force Manchester City out.
The report said: “The 17-year-old England youth international wants to leave the Blues and has not shown up for training in recent weeks, insisting he is ill.”
Sancho had already visited the Dortmund training ground with a view to a play, and ended up forcing the German club out.
It would be a delightful irony if Dortmund were the recipient of this deal from the England international.
Sancho has kept his thoughts on the saga private, but the MEN reported in August that he was interested in a move.
Dortmund has consistently insisted on a £ 108 million fee for the winger.
The Mail United report is unwilling to pay this figure, while denying claims that the Red Devils had a rejected offer.
Moves for various replacements are being considered, with Ousmane Dembele and Ismaila Sarr among the names in the mix.
Although Sancho might be taking this into his own hands.
Maybe he’s really sick. But this is a great coincidence. Everything will clear up soon. The deadline to sign him passes on Monday at 11 at night.
