Manchester United fans have yet to give up hope that Jadon Sancho will move to Old Trafford ahead of Monday’s transfer deadline.
The Borussia Dortmund star has been at the center of this summer’s biggest story, with United eager to bring the 20-year-old back to England.
However, Dortmund insist that Sancho will not be sold in this window, which closes at 11pm on Monday.
United appear unwilling to pay the German club’s € 120 million sale price for the England international.
But could there be another late twist in the saga?
Sancho was not involved in Wednesday’s Super Cup loss to Bayern Munich and Dortmund said the winger suffered from a “respiratory infection.”
Today Sancho is absent again for the Bundesliga clash with Freiburg.
This has sparked further speculation among United fans on social media, with Dortmund responding from their official Twitter account to say: “As in Munich, Jadon Sancho and Roman Bürki are still sidelined by respiratory infections.”
