I’M A Celebrity hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have revealed that camp is so cold that some celebrities struggle to stay warm, even after a hot shower.
The rooms they occupy in the ruins of the 19th century Gwrych castle are heated by a boiler that they must fill with firewood and then pump.

But we can reveal that even though we were told it had a gauge that must hit 200 before it can produce hot water, it is actually operated by producers.
A source said: “No matter how long they pump, bosses could turn it on or off in seconds with the flick of a switch.”
The Geordie duo, who returned to screens earlier this month, opened up about the chilly temperatures on today’s The Daily Drop.
Speaking to presenter Vick Hope, 45-year-old Ant admitted: “We talked to them at trials and we said, ‘Is it cold in there?’ And they said it’s so cold that you never, ever get hot
“Even at night, it’s in your bones. You know when you’ve been walking all day and you’re cold and it’s in your bones, it’s like that, day after day.”
Dec added: “They have a lukewarm shower that they have to pump themselves and keep the fire going to keep it warm.
“But they said that even when they take a warm shower, you immediately get cold again, you can never get fully warm.

“So I think that’s been the hardest thing for them, just the cold.”
The ITV show moved from the Australian jungle to Gwrych Castle due to Covid.
But while celebrities endure stormy and spooky nights, the host duo is rumored to be staying at Bodysgallen Hall near Llandudno.
Bodysgallen is a luxury country hotel located in Pydew Mountain.

It has a three AA rosette restaurant and a luxurious spa.
In addition to the hotel, the grounds feature 16 cabana-style suites that have “added privacy” and their own separate garden.
Importantly, the hotel is located 12 miles from Gwrych Castle, making it a quick drive.
However, the Telegraph reported that Ant has been seen walking her dogs on Penmaenmawr Beach.

Before yesterday’s show, Ant explained, “Wow! We just finished filming the test, it’s a drinking test with Jess and Shane.
