‘I need results’: Nottingham Forest fans say the same after Norwich City defeat

[ad_1]

Nottingham Forest fell to its fifth loss in six games on Wednesday night as the disappointing start to the season continued against Norwich City.

The Reds were at the end of a 2-1 loss at Carrow Road, thanks to goals from Jacob Sorensen and Emiliano Buendia on either side of Anthony Knockaert’s second-half tie.

It was the Frenchman’s first goal for Forest since signing on loan from Fulham in the summer, but he only tied Chris Hughton’s side for four minutes before the Canaries regained the lead.

Knockaert’s goal was Forest’s first since a 2-0 win over Wycombe in early November.

The result leaves Forest 21st in the table, just one point above East Midlands rivals Derby County dangerously close to the Championship drop zone.

After the full-time whistle, fans took to social media to give their immediate reaction to the result.

This is what some said.

Simon Eaton : If you constantly give opposing teams a goal advantage, you will always face it. Eliminate careless mistakes and we’ll get out of trouble. #nffc

HantsRed : When you’re unlucky, it sucks! Good cheer, but it bothers me how we play well when we are behind in games …! #nffc

Cam : Submarines made an impact on entering, wish I could see Mighten get more out of the ball. Guerrero should have seized his chance near the end, but he showed composure on the ball, which is good. I’d like to see a similar setup on the weekend to the one the game ended today. #nffc

Aaron : Did people watch the same game as me, saying we deserved a point? We mark from a center. Sorry if this is perceived as negative but on another night we don’t lose 2-1, we lose 2-0 #NFFC

Tom : Thought Forest played very well in the last half hour and earned a point. Knockeart must be wondering what else to do. His crosses and corners were excellent. Someone has to put himself at the end of them. #nffc

Danielle : We come for you. We come for you. Swindon Town, we come for you

#NFFC

Sam straw : It’s fair to say it was an improved performance (it wasn’t that great yet), but now it’s hitting the stage where we desperately need results. #NFFC
