A home was cordoned off as police lined the street in front of a home in Litherland.

Officers were seen guarding the property on Kirkstone Road North Wednesday night, just hours after another nearby incident.

Photographs taken of the scene show how the house was bricked up and two officers were standing on the main road.

One of the windows at the front of the house was also bricked up after the glass was reportedly broken.

At least four police cars and a police van were also at the scene, and neighbors told ECHO that they arrived around 6 p.m.

A Merseyside police spokesman could not provide further details on what happened, but confirmed that officers were at the scene of an ongoing incident.

In a statement, the force said: “Officers are at the scene of an ongoing incident at a home on Kirkstone Road North, Litherland.
