Many of us have woken up to the sight of gray clouds, heavy rain, and sadly many flooded roads.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather advisory for the Southeast and rain is expected to continue for most of today (Saturday, October 3)
Cities like Hemel Hempstead and Waltham Cross are already experiencing major flooding on roads and parks this morning, causing traffic delays.
Crossbrook Street in Waltham Cross near Cross Cafe was completely flooded this morning and footage from the scene shows drivers trying to get through flood water.
At Hemel Hempstead, other images show that Gadebridge Park has been heavily flooded and much of the park is under water.
The Met Office warns people that the weather may cause a small chance of danger to life and that outages are likely.
