We are cautioned to be especially careful on the roads of Kent as the Met Office has issued a yellow weather advisory when heavy rain and snow hit the county.
The alert is in effect until 10 a.m. M. And meteorologists say the downpours are likely to cause travel disruptions and flooding.
The advisory covers most of North and West Kent, including Dartford, Gravesend, Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, and Tunbridge Wells.
Experts warn that spray and surface water on roads can prolong travel times, bus and train services can be affected, and downpours can be brief in some places, reducing visibility and causing slippery surfaces.
Flood alerts have also been issued for parts of the county following heavy rains yesterday and overnight.
There have already been several accidents on the roads that may have been caused by bad weather.
Many people woke up to a layer of snow, particularly in the higher areas of the county, like Detling, near Maidstone.
