Manchester City manager says he does not consider his team a favorite in European competition
Pep Guardiola says he believes Bayern Munich are favorites to win the Champions League despite the praise for Manchester City in recent weeks.
With Wednesday’s 2-0 win over Borussia Monchengladbach, City have won 19 games in a row in all competitions.
However, Guardiola does not believe that his team’s winning streak will make them favorites given their trajectory in the Champions League.
What did Guardiola have to say?

Guardiola salutes the defense in the middle of a winning streak
With his team now atop the Premier League and one step closer to the Champions League quarter-finals, Guardiola was quick to praise the Manchester City defense for their efforts over the past few months.
City have kept 13 clean sheets throughout that 19-game streak, and Guardiola said his bottom line has been the catalyst behind the team’s success.
“That is the reason we are incredibly strong for 19 games in a row,” he said at his press conference.
“Everyone is involved. The defenders give only one on goal.” You have to learn this, all of you, because we put in an incredible effort up front with Raz, Phil, Gabriel, Gundo and Bernardo, everyone.
