A boost for Liverpool as Juventus pull out the race for a goal, while looking for a Chelsea defender …
LIVERPOOL, BOAT ON TOP
Juventus have decided they will not seek a move for Wolves winger Adama Traore, according to reports in Italy.
There have been rumors over the summer that various clubs were interested in Traore, including Barcelona, Liverpool and Manchester United. However, no movement materialized and the Spanish international has started the season in Molineux.
Liverpool has been perhaps the club most linked to Jurgen Klopp known for being a huge fan of the extreme, who has become one of the most dangerous attackers in the Premier League. A recent report from Spain claimed that Klopp still ‘wants’ Traore, and the Wolves ‘asked’ for around € 70 million to sign the 24-year-old.
And now report on the Italian website Transfer market they claim that Juventus will not rival Liverpool or Barcelona for Traore. They will not present an official offer for Traore with the Reds and Barça looking to make a deal in January or at the end of the season.
Another report recently insisted that the wolves were willing to tie it to new terms worth £ 100,000 a week, which would further increase its value.
THREE IN FOR CHELSEA DEFENDER
Three Italian clubs want to bring Chelsea defender Emerson Palmeiri to Serie A, according to reports in Italy.
The Brazilian has seen his first team’s chances with coach Frank Lampard reduced after the arrival of Ben Chilwell Leicester City, while also trailing fellow defender Marcos Alonso in the team’s pecking order.
Chelsea apparently put the 26-year-old up for sale in June, which aroused the interest of Inter coach Antonio Conte. And now Transfer market claims Juventus and Napoli have joined them as they seek a deal in January.
Emerson, who signed for Chelsea on a £ 26 million deal with Roma in January 2018, has yet to appear in the Premier League this campaign, and his only two appearances so far in the Carabao Cup.
AND THE REST…
Tottenham have offered Son Heung-min a new five-year contract worth £ 200,000 a week plus performance-related bonuses … Real Madrid’s plan to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappé did not go away would be affected if coach Zinedine Zidane left the club … Manchester City set to sign Partizan winger Filip Stevanovic for £ 6 million in January transfer window … PSG ready to fulfill verbal agreement with Neymar and offer a new contract to the Brazilian forward … Southampton left-back Ryan Bertrand is close to signing a new three-year contract.
Will Chelsea fall into Manchester United’s trap again at Old Trafford? And is Virgil van Dijk really as big of a loss for Liverpool as has been claimed? Winty and Mark discuss what is sure to be a great weekend.
