Nikki, 47, told The Daily Star that Jonathan showed his first symptoms a month ago and said he suffered from a cough and high temperature and that the virus prevented him from moving.
She added that he lay down on the sofa and did not move for two weeks, and that it was sometimes difficult to breathe.
Nikki then added: ‘We treated him as best we could, but sometimes he seemed unable to breathe. Having talked to the doctors, they urged us to stay home, but they told us to quickly get an oxygen monitor, which was attached to his finger. ”
He added that the rest of the family has also been infected with the virus, and Jonathan was observed by his daughter Amy, 20, when the virus reached its worst point.

Nikki said, “ I tried to stay calm, asking him all the time if he could breathe. I felt that I couldn’t think clearly because I was also very bad at the time. Amy was crying.
‘But I kept awake at night and monitored their oxygen levels, and fortunately with the help of 111 [NHS helpline], we arrived the next day. “
Jonathan now continues to rest and recover from the virus to try to avoid relapse.
A spokesperson for the Tappers told MailOnline: ‘I can confirm that the entire Tapper family hired Covid-19. We are very happy to say that the family is better: Jonathan is at the end of his recovery and now he is taking it easy. ”
Nikki said she hopes she and her family have developed some kind of immunity to the virus, and offered her thoughts to families who are undergoing the same test.
