Tottenham are close to closing a sensational double deal with Real Madrid to re-sign Gareth Bale on loan, as well as Welshman’s teammate Sergio Reguilón permanently.

Real will almost certainly pay at least half of Bale’s salary, if not more, as José Mourinho desperately seeks to add more quality to his squad.
