Gareth Bale would be open to a return to Tottenham, but the biggest hurdle is the Welshman’s salary, Kaveh Solhekol said on The Transfer Show.
Tottenham are getting closer to reaching an agreement with Real Madrid to sign Gareth Bale.
Bale’s advisers are talking to the Spurs about a possible loan from Real.
It is understood that Bale would like to return to Spurs, where he spent six seasons between 2007 and 2013, if an agreement with Real Madrid can be reached.
There are other clubs still interested in signing Bale, who Real Madrid would prefer to leave with a permanent contract.
Spurs head coach Jose Mourinho answered questions about the Bale club chase ahead of Thursday’s Europa League qualifying game against Bulgarian team Lokomotiv Plovdiv.

Manchester United may turn to Bale if they are unsuccessful in their search for Jadon Sancho, and the likelihood of the 31-year-old returning to play in England now seems much more realistic.
