Frank Lampard admits the jury is out on his Chelsea players after a troubling streak of three losses in four games.
After being 17 games unbeaten, a sequence that saw them approach the Premier League summit and cut through their Champions League group, the Blues have reached a difficult point that leaves them in eighth place heading into the clash of today with Aston Villa.
“You learn more about your players when they are on a losing streak,” Lampard said.

‘I learn about the players and the players have to learn about themselves.
“Some of them are young and these difficult times are things that we will have to go through.
“I don’t think this season is going to be easy, winning every week.
“But the players lacked character against Arsenal and they know it.”
