Frank Lampard says he was amused by Jurgen Klopp’s comments on Chelsea’s transfer activity this summer
Frank Lampard has called Jurgen Klopp’s criticism of Chelsea’s summer spending hilarious.
Chelsea have spent more than £ 200 million on new recruits in a summer rebuilding Stamford Bridge, but Klopp insisted Liverpool were different from “country clubs and oligarchs”.
Blues manager Lampard believes Klopp was both defending Liverpool’s lack of summer signings as he was overlooking the Reds’ previous recruiting campaigns that have propelled the Anfield club to the top.
