Floyd Mayweather’s last official fight was a 10th round win over Conor McGregor in 2017.

Floyd Mayweather, the former five-weight boxing world champion, has announced that he will face Youtuber Logan Paul in a “special exhibition” fight in February 2021.

The 43-year-old American Mayweather finished his career undefeated in 50 fights.

He last fought in 2017, defeating MMA star Conor McGregor in one of the richest fights in boxing history.

Paul, 25, has fought once professionally, losing to fellow Youtuber KSI in November 2019.

It has been speculated that the fight would be agreed for several months and the American Paul, who has more than 22 million subscribers on YouTube, has mocked Mayweather on several occasions, and the couple exchanged insults on social media.

Last week, Logan’s younger brother Jake, also a famous influencer, fought in the poster of the exhibition Mike Tyson v Roy Jones Jr in Los Angeles, knocking out former NBA player Nate Robinson.

The fight, which takes place on February 20 and is likely to draw huge pay-per-view numbers, is Mayweather’s last chance to face an opponent beyond the world of traditional boxing.

In December 2018, he took just 140 seconds to beat Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in an exhibition boxing match worth a reported $ 9 million (£ 6.7 million).
