HOLLY Willoughby and Phillip Schofield struggled to contain their anger on today’s This Morning show, while criticizing the latest government update.
In a passionate speech at the top of the show, the visibly emotional couple recounted how Boris Johnson’s national leadership had left them confused.

Phillip told viewers: “We have to start this morning in a state of total confusion after Boris Johnson’s speech last night in the nation. His speech created more questions than answers.”
Holly continued, “I think we’re about to hold on to each other we’ve done so well. We’ve all done exactly what we’ve been told.”
“We were doing very well to keep our spirits up, to keep going, but when there is this level of confusion, it takes you down.”
Admitting that he no longer understood what was happening, Phil said, “It is completely amazing. This has pushed us to the limit today.”
Last night, Boris revealed the government’s plans to relax the closure restrictions, as Britain prepares for phase two.
In his coronavirus speech, the Prime Minister spoke of the reopening of garden centers, easing closure measures and urging some Britons to return to work.
Boris encouraged construction and manufacturing workers to return to work, but revealed that documents on how to keep companies safe will arrive in the coming days.
He said: “We must now emphasize that anyone who cannot work from home, for example, those in construction or manufacturing, should be actively encouraged to go to work.”
However, he urged workers to avoid public transport and continue with social distance. “
He added: “We want it to be safe for you to get to work. Therefore, you should avoid public transportation if possible, because we must and will maintain social distancing and therefore capacity will be limited.”
Labor lashed out at him for urging people to return to work less than 12 hours in advance.
And this morning the roads were busier as they tried to drive more.
This morning Dominic Raab created more confusion when he said the new rules on work would not start until Wednesday.
The prime minister also failed to mention a specific date in his speech last night.
Starting Wednesday, the British will be able to exercise outdoors for as long as they like.
However, they must obey the rules of social distancing and fines have been increased for breaking those rules.
The Prime Minister said: “We want to encourage people to do more and even unlimited amounts of exercise outdoors.
“You can sit in the sun at your local park, you can drive to other destinations, you can even play sports but only with members of your own home.
“You must obey the rules on social distancing and to enforce those rules we will increase the fines for the small minority who violate them.”
Meanwhile, there was no guidance on whether it would be okay to see people outside of their home.
The British have been separated from their friends and family for weeks, but there was no indication if the end was in sight.
Government officials said a person will be able to meet from outside their homes starting Wednesday.
But meetings of more than two are still prohibited.
It means that the public would have to choose between meeting with mom or dad, and still staying away from them at all times.
Raab sowed more confusion when he wrongly suggested that both parents could be seen at the same time.
Speaking about travelers to the UK, the Prime Minister revealed that those who come to the UK by air will be ordered to quarantine for 14 days, but did not say when that would start.
He also specified that it would cover people entering by air, but did not say anything about those coming by ferry or Eurostar.
He explained: “To prevent reinfection from abroad, I am notifying that soon will be the time, with significantly less transmission, to impose quarantine on people entering this country by air.”
Later, No10 clarified that the restrictions would not apply to France or Ireland either.
Boris revealed the government’s plan to reopen the schools in stages, beginning with Year 1 and Year 6.
He also said he expected reopens to start in June.
The Prime Minister said: “In step two, no later than June 1, after the semester, we believe that we may be in a position to begin the gradual reopening of stores and bring primary school students to schools, in stages , beginning with reception, year 1 and year 6. “
However, the rules will not change in schools in Wales, which will remain closed for now.
They don’t have a date for schools to reopen and say the infection rate is still too high.
