Today there is a large police presence in Liverpool after what is believed to be an armed robbery.
Officers arrived in Kensington this afternoon at the junction of Sheil Road and Prescot Road.
Unconfirmed reports say the thieves collided with a car on Prescot Road, near The Sheil pub.
The men got out and fired at the police car, before two fled and were later caught. The police car is reported to have “had bullets in the side.”
At this stage there are no reports of injuries.
