This is the dramatic moment a cyclist faced in a London park after allegedly hitting and running over a one-year-old boy, as the boy’s furious mother claimed he didn’t even apologize.

The distraught Victoria Grant posted images on social media showing marks on her daughter Freya Clancy’s face after yesterday’s incident in Victoria Park, east London.

The 33-year-old woman and her son were walking down the trail when her daughter’s arm got caught in the spokes and then she was dragged along the ground until the cyclist stopped.

She told Sun Online: ‘The cyclist flew out the door and his front wheel hit my daughter in the face.

‘It was horrible. She was yelling and yelling ‘you just ran over my daughter’.

On Twitter he said: ‘My daughter is 1 year old and she was run over and dragged by a cyclist in our local park. The woman left and did not want to give me her details. ‘Not even a sorry !! My daughter was taken by ambulance!

The mother of three is now trying to locate the cyclist after claiming she would not reveal her details.

Mrs Grant, from Bow, East London, added: ‘It all happened so fast that I didn’t have time to grab my daughter. We were on the trail. Cyclists can be there, but pedestrians have priority.

“ I reported it to the police after we left the hospital and they have recorded the incident and will respond to me in a couple of days.

All I want is an apology from the woman and for her to slow down. He couldn’t have stopped if he had seen her because she was going too fast.

Video has emerged from the aftermath of the alleged collision showing the cyclist accused of hitting the young child in a confrontation between a member of the public. She was standing in the video and making no attempt to leave.

At the beginning of filming, the man is heard saying: ‘You have run over a child and now you are moving away from the scene of an accident.

“I am informing you in a car, on a bicycle or on a scooter, if you hit a pedestrian, you have the obligation to report it.”

The cyclist, in pink leggings and a gray top, shouts that she is ‘standing here and not going’. I don’t have a damn phone, you’re driving me crazy. ‘

The man filming begins to argue with another pedestrian saying that she is “trying to do the right thing” by calling the police.

The man filming goes on to say that the cyclist needs to report the incident, and she repeatedly asks him to ‘leave her alone’.

The incident between the cyclist, the pedestrian and the man filming then escalates and the motorcyclist says she is going to “sue” him.

She says, ‘I haven’t given you permission to record myself, so take that off, please.’

The cyclist then takes a photo of the man filming and calls him ‘stalker’ and ‘freak’.

The man filming and the cyclist continue arguing.

A man claiming to be an off-duty police officer enters the scene and starts talking to the cyclist who says ‘the boy is coming in the middle of my path, I don’t even see the boy’.

The officer then turns to the man who is filming and says that the incident is not necessarily a criminal matter. He disagrees and says that hitting a child is a criminal matter.

The video ends shortly after.
