Dozens of police officers, including armed policemen, rushed onto a residential street in Birmingham.

A large presence has been reported on Ingleton Road in Ward End since around 4pm.

At least six police vehicles have been seen in the area this afternoon amid concerns that there has been an ‘incident’.

A witness told BirminghamLive that there were armed police officers on the street.

They said: “Massive police incident at Ingleton Road corner, Northleigh Road Armed Police are not sure traffic is being diverted.”

Footage and video from the scene appear to be a BMW 3 Series being loaded onto the Jackson’s Incident Recovery Unit truck at around 5.30pm.
