Riyad mahrez (£ 8.4 million) is the latest Manchester City to suffer from Pep Guardiola’s rotation policy.
The Algerian winger is on the bench for matchday 13’s match with West Bromwich Albion as Phil Foden (6.4 million pounds) is located on the left side of the offensive midfield.
Favorite captain Kevin De Bruyne (£ 11.9 million) retains its starting position at No.10 higher, Raheem Sterling (£ 11.4m) rounding out the trio in support of Gabriel Jesus (£ 9.3 million)
But Mahrez is not the only notable absent as John stones (£ 4.8 million) is completely omitted from the team of the day despite completing 90 minutes in each of the last three Premier League games.
That development certainly strengthens the case for Ruben Dias (£ 5.6 million), whose start against West Bromwich Albion is his 10th straight in the Premier League.
Guardiola continues to retouch his sides, sending João Cancelo (£ 5.5m) back to right back for his third start on the rebound, on the bench Kyle walker (£ 6.2 million) and bring Benjamin mendy (£ 5.9 million) left.
West Bromwich Albion lineup in 4-2-3-1 form, falling Branislav Ivanovic (£ 4.5m) to the bank and going with a back-four of Kieran Gibbs (£ 4.3 million), Dara O’Shea (£ 4.3 million), Semi Ajayi (£ 4.8 million) and Darnell furlong (4.5 million pounds sterling).
