DYNAMITE Daniel Dubois cleared eight months of cobwebs with the 15th victory of his firecracker career last night.

The 22-year-old British heavyweight champion has a defense in store in London on October 24 against Joe Joyce, so he needed a fight to keep warm against Dutchman Ricardo Snijders.

And Peacock Gym prodigy Dubois scored four knockdowns in two rounds to demolish the 18-1 visitor who will return to the Netherlands promising never to fight DDD again.

After eight miserable months out of the ring for the young workaholic, the ruthless powerhouse of 17 drowned his sacrificial lamb in mint sauce and devoured it.

Dubois dropped his man three times at the end of the first round, the first as clean as a whistle, following a series of piston shots and a brutal left hook to the body.

The subsequent two decks of the stanza seemed like the aftermath, after no obvious hit dropped the innocent victim.

And, as soon as the second round began, the 26-year-old Snijders was again crushed by the South London steam train and the one-sided fight was cut short.

The Greenwich machine said, “I’m getting hot. Next time I will have a suitable fighter in Joe Joyce and that will make the fight even better.

“I needed that fight, any fight, I had to remove the rust and I enjoyed it.

“I’ll do the same to Joe, in an even better way. I need a step towards a world title. “

Moments before the contest, former world champion and expert David Haye told viewers to watch out for DDD’s jab before the ring’s heavyweight ruler Tyson Fury sang his praises.

And fans weren’t disappointed by his predictions as Dubois raced to victory.

Dubois and Joyce shared promoter Frank Warren said: “This fight has to go with a live crowd and we should learn about that in the next week.

“We have to keep up the sport and the fights, then we have to put the two guys in the ring and see who is the best.”
