HThese are the entry requirements for key shopping malls in East Asia, according to the Foreign Ministry. Even with the new quarantine exemption granted to business travelers, athletes and journalists, they still have to deal with strict rules elsewhere.
Hong Kong
Travelers arriving in Hong Kong on flights from overseas countries / territories, who are not Hong Kong residents, will be denied entry to Hong Kong.
All travelers entering Hong Kong, including Hong Kong residents, will be required to undergo a mandatory medical test for coronavirus upon arrival and must pass a mandatory 14-day quarantine. Arrivals can be placed in a Hong Kong government quarantine center.
Singapore
In addition to Singapore citizens and Singapore permanent residents who have been granted permission to enter Singapore from the UK (and from most other countries), they must obtain a negative Covid-19 test (proof of PCR) within 72 hours of travel. You will be issued a 14-day Home Stay Notice (SHN) for mandatory quarantine upon arrival.
Japan
Non-Japanese citizens who wish to visit for short-term business can also enter, provided they have a visa. However, the number of people who will be allowed to enter Japan under these rules will be restricted, with priority for those moving to Japan.
Arriving non-Japanese citizens will be required to provide written evidence of a negative Covid-19 test result taken within 72 hours of their flight departure time if they have visited the UK in the last 14 days. You will also need to provide written assurance from your company or sponsor that quarantine measures will be followed upon arrival.
All passengers arriving in Japan must self-isolate for 14 days when arriving at a designated location (such as a hotel or their own home) and avoid using public transportation, even when exiting the airport.
South Korea
All short-term foreign travelers must be quarantined in a government-designated facility for 14 days upon arrival. Arrivals from the US and Europe will be tested on entry before being transferred to the quarantine facility; arrivals from other locations will be transferred to the quarantine facility and analyzed within 14 days.
People have to pay a daily charge of around KRW 100,000 (approximately £ 66) while in government quarantine facilities.
