THREE people have been taken to hospital after an explosion at a house in Illingworth.
Fire crews from various stations, including Odsal, Cleckheaton and Fairweather Green, were called to Green Lane at 7.38 am today.
The blast affected a building, but six surrounding houses were evacuated as a safety measure.
The three people where the explosion occurred have been treated and taken to hospital.

All people have been accounted for, West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue confirmed.
Fire crews are working with West Yorkshire Police and Yorks Ambulance, the Calderdale Council and utility companies to deal with an explosion in a home.
The incident was initially attended by teams from Fairweather Green, Halifax and Odsal with specialist units from Cleckheaton and Dewsbury.

A spokesman for the West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews are dealing with the remaining pockets of fire that will be extinguished should they appear.
“Firefighters are likely to remain on the scene for some time.
“Investigations into the cause of the explosion continue.”
