Piers Morgan has said he will not be the host Good morning great britain on Monday May 4 because they did a coronavirus test.
The ITV presenter said he had mild symptoms for Covid-19 and would not be working on the program until his results return.
“On medical advice, and as a precaution for a mild symptom that arose in the last 48 hours, I tested for Covid-19 and therefore will not work on @GMB until I get the result, which should be tomorrow.” he wrote on Twitter.

Morgan has become an outspoken critic of the UK government’s response to the coronavirus pandemic, accusing ministers of being unprepared for the outbreak.
