“I wanted him to die. So I thought that would reflect badly on me and I don’t want to be the type of person who wants people to die.” So, he wanted me to improve, what he did, he improved
“But it didn’t improve as a human being. And I would really prefer that.”
“So we’re basically in the shit here.”
Some viewers of Channel 4 turned to social media to vent on Miriam’s words.
An enraged observer was enraged: “I love the last stage, but I don’t like Miriam Margolyes saying that she wants Boris to die.”
Another horrified person added: “Miriam’s comment about Boris … unpleasant …”
Other viewers shared on the microblogging site that they “respect” the actor for being honest.
“I already had enough respect for Miriam Margoyles, but I just saw her in The Last Leg and now I think she is a national treasure,” wrote one.
“It doesn’t surprise me that Miriam Margoyles is all the rage after The Last Leg. She is unfailingly honest and gives zero f ** ks. I love her. I don’t agree with wishing anyone death, but she said she felt horrible and that I was happy that he recovered. ” “I also wish he had become a better human as a result,” added a second.
Boris was released from the hospital after six days and continued his recovery from the coronavirus at Checkers before returning to work.
