More than 2,100 nightclubs, hostess bars, and nightclubs in the South Korean capital have been closed after 18 new cases of coronavirus, with all but one related to a 29-year-old man.

Schools were supposed to start reopening next week, but may not now do so amid fears of a resurgence as South Korea has had more than 10 cases a day for the first time in five days.
Authorities say it is too early to confirm whether school openings will be postponed, but added that they will monitor the spread of the virus and review information on new cases.
