The BLUE wall Tories warned last night that “we need fewer top hats and more flat caps at King Boris’s court” amid a dispute over the departure of Dominic Cummings.

They fear that his fiancee Carrie Symonds, nicknamed Princess Nut Nut by adversaries who used emojis to represent her, will encourage him to embrace environmentalism at the expense of infrastructure projects that create jobs.

Johnson will address nervous Conservative MPs from the Northern Research Group tonight.

One said: “There is concern that it may fail to deliver on the promises we made in the elections.

“They expect him to fulfill the leveling agenda. These are the MPs who beat Boris to his landslide election.”

A spokesperson for No10 said the government was determined to improve opportunities for all.
