Coleen Rooney had a spy in the Vardy camp, a new twist has been claimed in the Wagatha Christie case, as the source claims that an informant is “willing to talk” about Rebekah.
He reportedly told his friends that the insider was “extremely close” to Ms Vardy.
Ms Rooney, 34, accused Ms Vardy, 38, of giving the press ‘false stories’ about her private life last October after conducting a months-long ‘sting operation’ that dubbed her ‘Wagatha Christie’.
The wife of former England star Wayne Rooney claimed that the footballer’s wife, Ms Vardy, wife of Jamie Vardy, shared false stories that she had posted on her personal Instagram account with The Sun newspaper.
Ms Vardy, who is married to Leicester City forward Jamie Vardy, denies the allegations and is suing Ms Rooney for libel damages in London High Court.
Ms. Rooney believes the unidentified mole’s evidence could be key in her ongoing Supreme Court battle with her rival.

The couple are ready for last-minute peace talks, which may involve their soccer husbands, but Coleen Rooney is said to have a trick up his sleeve that he will use if the matter goes to court.
According to The Sun, the informant is prepared to confront Rebekah Vardy in court.

But in response to reports that suggested there was an informant willing to speak, Charlotte Harris, from the law firm of Ms. Vardy Kingsley Nap-law, said that ‘there cannot be a mysterious witness to something that did not happen.
“The simple fact is that Rebekah Vardy did not leak Coleen Rooney’s private Instagram posts and nothing can change that,” he said.

The couple have until February 8 to reach an agreement on the disagreement, or they should prepare for a five-day defamation hearing next year.
On October 20, Rebekah Vardy won the first round of her defamation battle against Coleen Rooney, when the court ruled that the charge “clearly identified” Ms. Vardy as “guilty of serious and ongoing breach of trust.”
Minutes later, Ms. Rooney responded with a statement through her spokesperson, saying she was “anxious” to hear what Ms. Vardy has to say in court.

The Superior Court ruling last week related to the wording of the final sentence of the post, with Ms. Rooney claiming that she was simply referring to Ms. Vardy’s Instagram account rather than Ms. Vardy herself.
But the judge said a common reader would not take the word “account” to “indicate that Ms. Rooney has doubts as to who the wrongdoer was.” He also disagreed with Ms. Rooney’s statement that the use of multiple ellipsis on the end line dilutes the meaning.
This means that the court has no doubts about who the accusation, Ms. Vardy, was made against, which will be considered if the defamation case goes to trial next year.
Ms Rooney’s spokesperson told MailOnline after the ruling: ‘Today’s ruling on the legal technical meaning of the post does not change anything. Coleen’s defense of this misguided action came out last month.
