Midbelt pub goers have been spilling their favorite drinks for the last time for the next two weeks, at least tonight.
New coronavirus rules mean licensed pubs and restaurants in Scotland must have their doors closed to the public from 6pm.
The bars and restaurants in the area are expected to reopen once again on Monday, October 26.
Drinkers will not be able to visit licensed facilities in Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Lothian, Lanarkshire, Forth Valley and Ayrshire & Arran during this time.
Punters have been pouring out of the pubs on the other side of the center belt while sipping on the ultimate pub experience on Friday night.
Hospitality in the rest of the country will be allowed to remain open between 6 am and 6 pm during this 16-day period, but they will not be allowed to serve alcohol inside.
Pubs will be able to serve alcoholic beverages outdoors, in areas like beer gardens, until 10pm every night.
Pool halls, indoor bowling, casinos and bingo halls are also among a number of other businesses that have been ordered to close as of tomorrow in the central belt.
The Scottish government says its aim is to reduce the number of new coronavirus infections with the new rules.
Nicola Sturgeon confirmed another 1,246 new cases of the virus on Friday.
Six people were also reported to have died after testing positive for Covid-19 in the past 24 hours.
Scotland’s police have deployed additional officers in the central belt to ensure that individuals and businesses follow the new rules.
