Three people have been stabbed when violence erupted in the streets last night.

Six people were rushed to hospital after the violent disorder in Cardiff city center.

One victim is in serious condition with head injuries and three people are believed to have been stabbed.

Two others were also injured and all the victims are being treated at the University Hospital of Wales.

Wales police said two people have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and are currently in custody.

The force said it had received multiple reports of a “major disturbance” on Queen Street around 9.50pm on Saturday.

Officers urge anyone with information to call the police at 101.
