Callum Wilson is eager to return to the Premier League
Newcastle’s £ 20 million offer for forward Callum Wilson has been accepted by Bournemouth.
Aston Villa and Newcastle were locked in negotiations with Bournemouth on Saturday, and both made offers for the 28-year-old forward.
However, Villa withdrew his offer, leaving the way clear for Newcastle, after hearing that Wilson’s preference was a move to Tyneside.
Wilson is now free to discuss personal terms with Newcastle as he prepares to leave Bournemouth after six years with the championship club.
