Breakdown of the Rangers’ SPFL resolution when each club’s voting position is revealed

[ad_1]

The long-awaited SPFL EGM ended with calls for an independent investigation removed.

Following the controversial vote to end the season, the Rangers had called for an investigation into how that decision was reached.

They gained the support of Hearts and Stranraer, meaning that an emergency general meeting was held to vote on whether an investigation should be conducted.

75% support was needed in each division, but the proposal failed to obtain more than 40% in any of the divisions.

This is how the votes were broken, with the two lower divisions voting as a block.

It should be noted that since leagues have been declared out of the top flight, Stranraer and Partick Thistle have been relegated and voted on in the division below where they were at the point of closing.

Dundee United remains in the Championship, however, as the Premier League season has not been declared over.
