Seesha Dack was last seen Sunday night

Police searching for a 15-year-old girl who had been missing for two nights found a body.

Seesha Dack left her home in North Shields at 17:00 BST on Sunday to meet friends, but did not return home, prompting a major search operation.

A body has been found in the Tanners’ Bank area of ​​North Shields.

Formal identification has yet to be made, but police said they believe the body has been reported to be that of Ms. Dack and her family.

At this time no third party involvement is believed and a report will be prepared for the coroner.

Northumbria Police Superintendent Barrie Joisce said: “This is an extremely sad conclusion to an extensive investigation.

“The stunt officers are supporting Seesha’s family during this incredibly difficult time and our thoughts are with them.

“We will continue to conduct investigations to establish the circumstances surrounding the death, but at this time we do not believe that there is third party involvement.”
